Yunnan Walnut is also called Juglans sigillata D. or Juglans sigillata L., which is planted widely in Southern China, such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Western Sichuan and Southern East Tibet. Yunnan walnut tree is normally planted on the hillside at an altitude of 1300-3300m. Yunnan walnut is different from common walnut, which is featured with thin shell in deep color but light kernels. Most walnut tree is planted on the hillside with old age, it's difficult and no need applying fertilizer or spraying agriculture chemical, Yunnan walnut is grown naturally and organically. Yunnan walnut is normally harvested in the beginning of September.
